If you know Lindsay, you know she is the kind of person who makes everyone feel like family. She has the most caring, gentle heart and is truly an incredible human. Anyone who has had the chance to know her knows how lucky they are to call her a friend. The Allen family is a beautiful, strong family, and right now they are facing so much as they care for their mother, their wife, their world—while Lindsey undergoes another surgery. I’m setting up this meal train to help ease even a small part of the burden they’re carrying during this time. Any support, whether big or small, means so much. They are truly blessed with an amazing community, and now it’s our turn to show that love in return. Let’s come together to support a wonderful friend and a family who deserves it more than words can express.
We kindly ask that you are mindful of dietary restrictions when preparing meals. Lindsay’s daughter has celiac disease, so all food must be completely gluten-free and free from any cross-contamination. Additionally, her son has a peanut allergy, so all food must be completely nut-free as well. A great local option for safe, gluten-free food is Love Bite in Clayton If preparing food feels uncertain, a simple donation or gift cards are also incredibly helpful so the family can choose meals that fit their needs. Any support during this time is truly appreciated. Thank you for helping care for the Allens in such a thoughtful way.
