For those that know Billy Davis and Laurie Wiley, you will agree that these are two extraordinary people. Billy's journey to a kidney transplant has been a long and complicated one. He has been blessed with an angel in is life, Laurie. She is without a doubt, the reason that Billy is still here with us today. Billy has the most gentle soul and anyone that has ever met him is touched by his generous spirit. Laurie and Billy have endured so much together and we wanted to support then in this huge endeavor. Laurie is donating a kidney as part of a chain donation and Billy will receive one in this same chain. They will be confined to home for several weeks and we are looking for meal donations and gift cards to minimize their needs at home. Laurie will be donating her kidney on December 14th and Billy will receive his December 15th.
They will not be taking visitors and please do not send flowers as this is a restriction for transplant patients due to immunosupression. Billy will still be on a renal restricted diet (low sodium, potassium and phosphorous). They are not huge fans of seafood. There will be a cooler on their porch for dropping off food.
