My husband Alfredo (Freddy) was found to have a mass on his left kidney and is going to require surgery at UCLA to have it and part of his left kidney removed. This will require him to stay at UCLA for a few days and then he will finish his recovery at home. Many have already reached out to offer help with meals, watching our kids and rides for our kids to their scout meetings. We are greatly blessed and appreciative. Freddy is a VERY hands-on dad with our kids and daily duties and this will help ease the burden and allow us to focus on his recovery. We thank you all for your kind words, many wishes of recovery and overall support during his journey. Alfredo's Allergies: egg whites, mushrooms, pine nuts, basil, raw garlic, raw onion (grilled/spice garlic and onion is ok), raw peppers and hominy (sorry Freddy, no posole). Other than Freddy's food allergies we are not picky eaters.
