Our M5/C5 family would like to take a moment to recognize someone who has spent so much of her time caring for everyone else—our dear Julie ("Mish"). Julie recently suffered a traumatic brain injury while on her way to work. She now faces a long road to recovery, but if there is one thing we know about Julie, it is that she is incredibly strong, resilient, and surrounded by people who love her. Anyone who has had the privilege of working with Julie knows the kind of person she is. She is always the first one to show up for others, always willing to lend a helping hand, and never hesitates to step in whenever someone needs support. Julie is the person who makes sure everyone has eaten, who brings people together, and who fills the unit with kindness, laughter, and compassion. Her heart is one of the purest you will ever meet, and her generosity has touched countless patients, families, and coworkers. Now it is our turn to be there for her. Julie, your M5 and C5 family is standing beside you through every challenge, every milestone, and every victory on your journey to recovery. Just as you have lifted so many of us over the years, we will be here to lift you. You are not walking this road alone. We know the days ahead may not be easy, but we also know the incredible strength that lives within you. We will continue to cheer you on, pray for you, and support you in every way we can until the day you are ready to return to the place where you have made such a lasting impact. Julie, we miss your smile, your kindness, your laughter, and your caring spirit more than words can express. We are all rooting for you and look forward to celebrating every step forward. With love, hope, and unwavering support, Your M5/C5 Vascular Surgery Family
