Dear Loved Ones, On June 18th the unimaginable happened when Jeremiah Centrella left us abruptly, long before we were ready. Lana and Eddy find themselves suddenly without their loving dad and Margaret without her husband, best friend and partner in life. Jeremiah was the quiet, loving, steady heartbeat of his community. He quite literally fed us all, both with his delicious cooking and his unwavering warmth and presence. The thought of life without him is overwhelming, but we are going to do what Jeremiah would do, come together in community for each other and his family. At this moment the family needs a moment to process and is taking one day at a time, but there will be a celebration of his life at some point. As soon as plans come together we will post all updates here. We will also use this page to help Margaret with driving, childcare, playdates, meals, and other ways to give as necessary, as soon as she is ready, so stay tuned. Please also use this page to share your love and memories with the girls. We will be putting together a book of stories and memories that Lana and Eddy can read as they grow up. As we all know, some of the biggest Wolfella family superpowers are nurturing their community and taking care of their people; and now it's our turn to take care of them. In these times it can be hard to know how to help so we want to share here that Margaret really appreciates the reach-outs and worries that this could all feel too isolating if people are being too careful. So let's all remove that worry for her by being our most vulnerable selves, not hesitating to reach out to her with love and support. If you don't hear back immediately, know that it is appreciated. The outpouring of love has already been tremendous and the family is so grateful. We're all doing our best to keep our heads up and our feet pointed down river, just like Jeremiah taught us.
