Becca and Kyle welcomed two beautiful baby girls, Olivia Lux and Addison Sage on December 21st, 2021. To help the two of them adjust best while caring for their new twins, we are planning a meal train. Olivia and Addison are currently still in the NICU with no discharge date. Kyle is currently traveling back and forth from home to the hospital. Snacks and easy lunch type food is preferred so they can eat when they have time. Hospital meals are no longer provided. Lastly, because we are still living in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic and want to protect the Kummer family and the new babies, a cooler will be placed outside for meal drop offs. Please do not ring the doorbell.
Becca must eat strictly gluten free (no wheat, rye, oats, or barley) due to celiac disease including no cross contamination (clean cooking utensils and pans/pots, no shared butter tubs/condiments scooped with a knife that has touched gluten in the past, no wooden cutting boards or wooden spoons as they harbor gluten, no shared toasters/fryers etc). Kyle does not like mushrooms or olives. Safe and easy ideas: any plain meat/fish, any plain rice/potatoes, Costco rotisserie chicken, fresh salads, fresh fruit and veggies, gluten free frozen pizza, any pre packaged frozen food item marked gluten free, enchilada bake with corn tortillas, sloppy joes with no buns, stuffed peppers, meatloaf with gluten free bread crumbs, stir fry with gluten free soy sauce, one sheet pan dinners, egg bake, charcuterie tray (cheese/sausage/fruit), stew, tacos with corn tortilla chips, baked potatoes, pulled pork/chicken, gluten free pasta bake, etc. Gluten free and gluten filled snacks would also be very warmly received!
