Hi, my name is Morgan, and this page is for my mom—though she doesn’t know I’m doing this. My mom is one of the most incredible people I know. She’s spent her life helping others, and right now, she’s a foster parent, providing a safe and loving home for children while their families work through difficult times. Last year, she had one knee replaced and made an amazing recovery. But on August 5th, she hyperextended her other knee—the one that still needs to be replaced. We’ve started the process of scheduling the second knee replacement, but recovery takes time. And during that time, she won’t be able to work, which means losing her only source of income. We don’t have much—just a whole lot of love. I wish I could take care of everything for her, but I can’t do it alone. That’s why I’m reaching out and asking for help from anyone who might be able to give it. My biggest fear is that she won’t get the surgery she needs because she can’t afford to take the time off to heal.
