Caring for one of our own-Renae's Recovery

Osawatomie, KS

Story

Renae was recently involved in a serious accident while stopped on the side of the road helping a dog. She sustained multiple injuries including a broken clavicle, several broken ribs that punctured her lung, a dislocated shoulder and a break, stitches, and multiple abrasions. She is incredibly lucky to be alive, but she has a long recovery ahead and will be out of work for some time. Many of you know Renae has already walked through tremendous loss, losing her dad at the beginning of her LPN year. Now, at the start of her RN year, she is facing another unexpected challenge. This will be a difficult time, with her being out of work and trying to continue on in the nursing program. As her nursing family, we want to surround her with support so she can focus fully on healing. We are organizing a Meal Train to help ease the burden during recovery. If you’re able to: • Sign up to provide a meal • Send a takeout/delivery gift card • Contribute financially toward essentials • Help with errands or household needs Every bit of support matters. Thank you for showing up for one of our own. ❤️
