Supporting Sara and Lillie Newhart through loss

On Saturday May 2, Steve Newhart, Sara’s husband and Lillies father, was found unresponsive in his home. There are many questions right now with no answers but we will share information as Sara feels comfortable doing so. Sara and Lillie are currently navigating the immense loss of their two greatest loves, aside from each other. We lost Nana Pat in March and now they will have to figure out life without Steve as well. It’s an immense burden both mentally, physically, and financially. We’ve had several people ask how they can contribute. We chose this platform because we really want Sara and Lillie to get 100% of what people give, and it allows for additional support aside from financial because they will need so much moving forward. She will now also be missing out on her final couple of checks for the year. Any money contributed will go towards planning for services for Steve and helping Sara and Lillie. 🩷 If you are called to support them but cannot help financially, there are opportunities for helping with meals, helping with their pets, helping look after Lillie possibly, and anything else we can think of. We want to show them that not only do they have a big village, but that village extends beyond family and friends and into the many communities they haven’t even met yet.
