Story

My name is Jessica and I am creating this page on behalf of my co-worker Christopher and his family. The below is the story behind why this page has been created, copied from his current Go Fund Me. Please contact me directly for coordination of drop offs. 760-877-2997. DoorDash gift cards are encouraged while Chris is at his treatments to get a meal delivered while he's there. "Christopher is 30 years old, married to Katerina and the father of two of the cutest kids you've ever seen. He makes his living in the building trades and resides in middle Tennessee. In February of 2023, Christopher was diagnosed with pure seminoma cancer. After treatments, the cancer went into remission, only to return April, 2025. Oncologists determined the cancer to be stage 2, in the lymph nodes, and recommend intense chemotherapy. At this time, Christopher will continue consulting with his doctors, getting scans and will determine his course of action soon. Regardless of the treatment plan chosen, expenses will be out of pocket. Christopher and family are about to journey back into the "pit" and with God's help, climb out again to a Christ-glorifying tomorrow...but they need our help. Would you be willing to "hold the ropes" for them on two levels? First, pray. We serve a sovereign God who is a good, good Father, and He has instructed us to pray for those who are in need. Second, give. The out of pocket expense for the treatment plan chosen will be challenging. Any donation will be greatly appreciated and considered a blessing from the Lord. Ultimately, God is the one "holding the rope" for us, but He uses others to be the channel through which He works. Would you help "hold the rope" PS - Christopher has decided to receive chemo treatments which are costly. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Special Notes

Due to chemo treatments, high protein and carbs are highly encouraged! Also, treatments are daily May 19-23. DoorDash gift cards or a good sandwich for the road would be great for lunch. (no pickles please). Plastic cutlery and paper plates are welcome. Freezer space is available for freezer meals. Drop off can be at Bylers Quality Construction office or at The Hall's home. Friday and Monday are the busiest days on their calendar that they could use the most help.
