❤️ A Little Help During an Unexpected Time ❤️ I never imagined I would be making a post like this, because asking for help is something our family has never been comfortable doing. But sometimes life throws unexpected circumstances at you, and you have to put your pride aside and reach out. My husband, James Hicks, was recently hospitalized for 5 days. He is now home, but unfortunately, he has been placed on medical leave for the next 6–8 weeks without pay. I have been a stay-at-home mom for the past 4 ½ years, and James is the sole provider for our family. He is only a few weeks shy of being at his job for a full year. Unfortunately, you have to be employed there for a year before qualifying for paid medical leave, so right now we are facing a period of time with no income from his job. We have two young children, and as everyone knows, bills don’t stop just because someone gets sick. Groceries, household bills, necessities, and everyday expenses still have to be paid, and this unexpected situation has put our family in a difficult position. We have always tried to handle things on our own and have never been the type to ask for help. Honestly, this is not something that comes easy for us. But right now, we simply don’t have many other options, and we are reaching out during this difficult time. If you are able to help in any way, whether financially, by sharing this post, or simply keeping James and our family in your thoughts and prayers, we would be incredibly grateful. ❤️ There is absolutely no pressure or expectation to give. We understand that everyone has their own circumstances. Even sharing this post can help more than you know. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who has checked on James, prayed for him, reached out, or offered support. We truly appreciate every bit of love, kindness, and support during this unexpected chapter of our lives. ❤️🙏
