Our family recently said goodbye to my dad after his courageous battle with cancer. It has been an incredibly difficult season as we walked alongside him through hospice and were blessed to be with him in his final moments. As we grieve and begin navigating the days ahead, we’re asking for help with meals for just a little while. This support will allow Megan and me to spend time with family, help my mom with everything that comes after a loss, and simply have one less thing to worry about as we process our grief. Your prayers, encouragement, and kindness mean more than we can express. Whether you provide a meal, send a note, or simply keep our family in your prayers, we are deeply grateful. Thank you for loving us during this difficult time. With gratitude, Jacob & Megan Tjapkes
Meal Preferences & Delivery Notes Thank you for caring for our family during this season. Your support means more than words can express. * Our entire household is gluten-free, so we kindly ask that all meals be gluten-free. * We have limited freezer space, so fresh meals are preferred over frozen meals whenever possible. * We tend to eat a lower-carb, carnivore-leaning diet, so we especially appreciate meals that are meat and dairy focused. * Some meal ideas include: * Pot roast * Meatloaf (gluten-free) * Grilled or baked chicken * Steak with vegetables * Pulled pork or shredded beef * Roast turkey * Chili (gluten-free) * Hearty soups and stews (gluten-free) * Taco bowls (without tortillas) * Breakfast-for-dinner with eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes * If you’re unsure what to bring, restaurant gift cards are also a tremendous blessing. Please text before dropping off a meal so we can make sure someone is home. Most importantly, thank you for your prayers, love, and support as we grieve the loss of Jacob’s dad. We are truly grateful for our family, friends, and church community walking alongside us during this difficult time. With gratitude, Jacob & Megan Tjapkes
