Help Me Support My Students & Chase My Dream Every day I walk into school as a Teacher Assistant, I’m reminded why I’m here: the kids. I work with special education students, and they’ve completely changed my life. Their resilience, humor, and small victories are what I live for. Being a special education teacher isn’t just a job to me — it’s my dream. Right now I’m a TA, but every sticker I hand out, every mini celebration I plan, every moment I spend helping a student finally grasp a concept… it’s all steps toward that dream. I try to make our classroom feel magical. We do special events, themed days, and I bring goodies like stickers and prizes because I’ve seen how those little things light up a child’s face and make learning feel safe and fun. But here’s the hard part: supplies, sensory tools, rewards, and materials for special events add up fast. As a TA, I cover a lot out of pocket because I can’t stand the thought of a student missing out. I’m asking for your help.
