Help Me Keep a Safe Home After 15 years together and 3 years of marriage, I am starting over with my four children—three daughters, ages 12, 8, and 3, and my 7-year-old son. On June 16, 2026, my divorce was officially finalized, and I was granted full custody of my children. Getting to this point has been a long and difficult journey. Our relationship involved domestic violence, and when we left, we had to leave behind almost everything we owned. Now, we are trying to rebuild our lives from scratch. I have been struggling financially, especially with keeping up with our rent. I am currently behind and doing everything I can to catch up before we risk losing the home we finally have. After a lot of searching, I recently landed a job that works with my children's school schedules. I am incredibly grateful for that opportunity, but I need some help getting through this difficult period while I get back on my feet. My 7-year-old son has autism, and caring for him while raising four children on my own comes with additional challenges. Keeping a stable routine for all of my children, getting them to school, working, and trying to provide everything they need has been overwhelming. Our apartment is essentially empty because we had to leave so much behind. We need beds, bedding, furniture, clothing, school supplies, kitchen necessities, groceries, and other basic things that most families already have. But right now, rent is my biggest concern. I am trying desperately to keep a roof over my children's heads while I establish myself in my new job and create a stable life for them. I never imagined I would have to ask for help like this, but I am doing whatever I have to do to protect my children and give them a safe place to call home. Any amount, no matter how small, would help us tremendously. Donations will go toward catching up on rent and utilities, keeping our home, groceries, transportation, and the basic necessities we need to rebuild our lives. If you aren't able to donate, sharing our fundraiser would mean just as much to us. My children and I have been through a lot, but we are trying to move forward. I just want to give them a safe, stable home and the chance to start healing and building a better future.
