Supporting Sam, Michael and Jax

Story

Supporting Sam and Her Family During a Critical Pregnancy Journey I am organizing a Meal Train to support Sam and her family during an incredibly challenging time. Sam is currently facing a high-risk pregnancy complication known as Anhydramnios due to Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes (PPROM). She has been hospitalized and will remain under close medical care for the next 12 weeks as her care team works to prolong the pregnancy and give her baby the best possible chance. What is Anhydramnios and PPROM? Anhydramnios is the complete absence of amniotic fluid, which is essential for fetal development—especially for the lungs. PPROM occurs when the amniotic sac ruptures before 37 weeks of gestation, leading to a continuous loss of fluid. Together, these conditions pose serious risks. Despite the risks, Sam is bravely undergoing intensive treatment, including continuous monitoring and preventive antibiotics. Her medical team is working tirelessly to extend the pregnancy and improve outcomes for her and baby girl. How You Can Help? While Sam is in the hospital, her family is juggling emotional stress, medical uncertainty, and daily responsibilities. Providing meals is a simple but powerful way to show love and support. Whether it’s a home-cooked dish, a delivery gift card, or a comforting snack, or a monetary donation to help ease the stress of accumulating medical expenses, every contribution helps ease their burden. Please consider signing up to bring a meal or send encouragement. Your kindness will nourish not just their bodies, but their spirits during this difficult time. Thank you for standing with Sam and her family. Your support means the world.
