In October, my world shifted with three life-changing words: “You have cancer.” Hearing those words was shocking, but I was determined not to let fear take hold. I leaned on my faith, trusting God to guide me through this battle, and on my incredible family and friends who have been my rock in this storm. After careful consideration with my doctors, I’ve made the decision to undergo a double mastectomy in March. It’s not a choice I made lightly, but one rooted in hope for a healthy future. In the months leading up to surgery, I’m focusing on nourishing my body, strengthening my spirit through prayer, and holding fast to the truth that this is just a chapter of my story—not the end of it. I remind myself daily that God is with me, that He goes before me, and that I am never alone. On surgery day, I will walk in with courage, knowing I am covered in prayers and surrounded by love. My journey isn’t just about survival—it’s about faith, resilience, and finding strength I never knew I had.
