Hello, I am asking for help for me and my family. My name is Shawn and I am the wife of a blinded veteran and we have 6 children together. Recently I had an insurance lapse that caused my plate and license to go into revocation. I am a Substitute Teacher so while school is out I have been ubering and door dashing. I am having issues paying my bills on time, delivering food is great but does not pay very well. As a result I am behind on my light bill ($120 behind scheduled for disconnection on 6/19/2026), and I need to pay the DMV to restore my license ($150 as of today 6/16/2026). I was able to make enough money to get insurance back but not enough to pay for DMV fees. Any help would be appreciated.
