Our Village of Bartlett family is asking for your support as Sergeant Brian Simone and his son, Austin, navigate the heartbreaking loss of Brian's beloved wife and Austin's devoted mother, Andrea. Brian and Andrea shared 19 wonderful years of marriage and built a loving family together. Andrea was a dedicated Human Resources Director at Segerdahl Printing. Above all, she was a devoted wife and mother whose love for her family was evident in everything she did. To those who know Brian, he is first and foremost a loving husband and father who has always placed his family at the center of his life. While remaining deeply committed to serving the Village of Bartlett and leading those around him with integrity, compassion, and humility, Brian has never lost sight of what matters most, his family. His unwavering dedication to both his loved ones and this community has earned the respect and admiration of colleagues, friends, and residents alike. Throughout his career, Brian has faithfully served the Bartlett community and has become known for his steady leadership, unwavering support of his fellow officers, and passion for investing in future generations. In addition to leading his team as a Sergeant, Brian has played a vital role in coordinating the Bartlett Police Department's Citizen Police Academy, Teen Police Academy, and the Alignment Collaborative Internship Program, helping build lasting relationships between the police department and the community. As Brian and Austin grieve this unimaginable loss, we hope to ease some of the daily burdens they now face.
