Life has been turned upside down for our family. We thought my husband was having worsening lung issues, he has anxiety about the hospital from previous extended stays so he waited until symptoms got pretty bad. After arriving at the ER, things quickly turned south and he needed to be intubated. Once he was stable but would not wake they did an MRI and found out what was going on. My husband suffered dozens of little strokes in every part of his brain the day before he went into the ER caused by what we think is vasculitis. More tests and some surgeries to hopefully confirm diagnosis to start treatment and help improve chances of recovery. We have a long road ahead of us. Together we have 3 children and some animals.
