Love and support for Tanara Martin while on her cancer treatmeant journey.

Story

My Story 64 years of life… and I have only smoked two cigarettes in my entire lifetime. So how in the world did I end up with lung cancer—a rare form called adenoid cystic carcinoma? The truth is—this is a myth. You do not have to be a smoker to get lung cancer. Please hear me when I say this: listen to your body. If something doesn’t feel right, say something. Advocate for yourself. I am also a heart attack survivor, which makes surgery a higher risk for me. Because of that, my doctors and I have decided to move forward with an aggressive radiation treatment plan. Although I had retired from two jobs, I was still working as an Uber driver to supplement my income. Due to my weakened immune system and the effects of radiation treatments, I am unable to work at this time—hopefully only for a couple of months. During this season, I am focusing on healing, strength, and faith. If you feel led to support me—whether through a donation, a prayer, or simply sharing my story—I am truly grateful. Thank you for standing with me. With love, Tanara 🤍

Special Notes

Because the lung is the target it makes it difficult to breathe. Please text me and be patient with me for a response.
