As many of you already know Alyssa hadn’t been feeling well & went to the ER due to pressure in her head & her balance being off. Once they examined her, they thought she was possibly having a stroke which led to a CT & MRI. When the results from the MRI came back, they informed us that they had found a mass in her brain. She had brain surgery last week to remove what they could. The pathology report came back as a astrocytic tumor above her cerebellum. We are still waiting on the DNA of the tumor to see how aggressive it is and how to treat it. It’ll be another few weeks till we have the results of that. Unfortunately, this has left Alyssa unable to work, Eric hasn’t left her side. I want to do what I can to help them in this hard time.
