Hi everyone, Please join me in supporting Nevaeh and her family as her grandfather was just recently diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer. Nevaeh and her family are grandpa’s primary caregivers and coordinating it all can be tricky. I have had the privilege of being Nevaeh’s Girl Scout troop leader for several years, and throughout that time, her family has always been incredibly kind, generous, and supportive of our troop and of me personally. I know both of Nevaeh’s parents have very demanding jobs and busy schedules, and I can only imagine how much their family is navigating right now. Between their own young kids, and taking care of a loved one, anything to make a day less stressful will definitely be appreciated. Any help, big or small, would be deeply appreciated as they support Nevaeh’s grandpa through his treatment and recovery. If you feel it in your heart to help, please know that your kindness and generosity would mean so much to their family. The family is local to Simi Valley, and we are hoping to surround them with as much love and support as possible during this difficult time.
