Ava's Journey to Healing

Story

Ava Cox is a brave and beautiful 11-year-old girl who has been battling TBCK since she was diagnosed at the age of 5. Due to increased seizure activity Ava has had two recent hospitalizations. Ava is a fighter. and she continues to regain her strength. Ava is nothing short of an amazing TBCK warrior, and her determination fills us with hope and inspiration. Like many TBCK families, our days are filled with numerous doctor and therapy appointments. Although Ava is often busy with these therapies she loves taking car trips, but we face significant challenges as she grows. It has become increasingly difficult to get her in and out of our current car, which is not handicapped accessible. That’s why we’ve created this page – to rally friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals to help us reach our goal for Ava's much-needed handicap accessible vehicle. This vehicle would not only protect our backs and save us time on our frequent trips to appointments, but most importantly, it would empower Ava to continue living life without boundaries. Imagine her joy with the freedom to visit friends and family, and easily attend her therapies and doctor visits without limitations. Although Ava cannot speak, I know that she is driven to move and explore the world around her. This journey will be life-changing for us and for Ava. Together, we stand resilient and determined to give her every opportunity she deserves. Please, support Ava on her Journey to Healing. Your generosity will make an immense difference in her life. Thank you for your kindness and support! Much love, The Cox Family
