Hi Family & Friends and welcome to The McMullen Family page! Many of you may have already heard, but Matt McMullen had to have quadruple heart bypass surgery on Wednesday, July 17. Although this was unexpected… our God is still faithful! Matt's progress has been nothing short of miraculous!!! His surgery was expected to be about 4 to 6 hours… but he was done in about 2 hours. He was expected not to wake up after the surgery until about 4pm that day… but he woke up around 1pm. The doctors said he would go home on Sunday, July 21. He was out of the hospital on his way home by 3pm on Saturday, July 20. The Bible says, "Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear…" Matt's recovery process is a testament to this scripture!!! Also let's not forget about his son, Micah who broke his arm and had to have 2 surgeries. Finally, his wife Cydnie has been standing strong, taking care of things, and handling all family affairs. This page was created to help Matt & Family due to the above. Both Matt and Cydnie serve others at their local church, giving selflessly to the glory of God!!! This is our opportunity to serve them this time! The goal is to help this family with daily tasks around the house and anything else they may need.
