For those who know me, you know I’ve always been a caregiver at heart. From nurturing children, advocating for families, supporting children with special needs, to opening my in-home childcare in May of 2024 — this work has always been more than a job. It’s my purpose. It’s my heart, existing outside of my body every single day. Caring and fighting for others has always come naturally to me… but now I am being called to fight for myself. This journey has come with emotional weight, but also real, immediate challenges. Insurance battles, business crisis, living expenses and many more to name. It all has felt impossible. Nevertheless, I want to share that I have officially booked and completed all of my medical tests/labs and scans, and I will be starting treatment very soon. The plan can take over a year to complete. First chemotherapy, then immunotherapy, then specialized targeted therapy, next radiation therapy, then my mastectomy and reconstruction surgery.Taking these steps forward hasn’t been easy, but with your support, it's possible. Thank you all for your love and gentleness through these most challenging times. I am beyond grateful. To everyone who has donated, shared my story, prayed for me, or reached out with love — thank you. Truly. Your kindness is helping me focus on healing instead of fear. You are carrying me through one of the hardest seasons of my life. There is still a rough road ahead. I am preparing not only for treatment, but also for fertility preservation, as becoming a mother has always been a dream of mine. I am doing everything I can to keep my childcare open for the families who depend on me, even as I navigate this fight. For 18+ years, I’ve shown up for others with love, strength, and care. And now, I feel that same love being poured back into me. If you are able to continue supporting — whether through donations, shares, or simply keeping me in your prayers — it means more than I can ever express. Let’s keep surrounding each other with love, strength, and community. With all my gratitude, Rhayvin 🤍
