The Doering family is facing every parent’s worst nightmare. Their sweet 5-year-old daughter, Sunnie, was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on Saturday, August 8th. Sunnie is currently receiving care in Milwaukee and, once she is able, will transfer back to one of our local hospitals to continue her treatment and journey toward recovery. In the midst of this overwhelming new reality, Seth and Alexia are balancing sleepless nights, long commutes, a constant stream of new information and routines - all while continuing to care for their three children at home. During a time filled with so much uncertainty and change, the simple task of planning, preparing, and providing the next meal can feel like one more burden to carry.
