Bergren Family Meal Train and Support Calendar

Story

Hi everyone — thank you so much for being here. As we continue to await the arrival of the twins, we’re feeling so much excitement and gratitude, mixed with the anxious “Are we ready for this?” feeling that comes with welcoming two babies at once. We’ve already received more kindness and generosity from our village than we ever could have imagined and do not want anyone to feel obligated in any way. Your invitation to this website is simply here as a convenient way to coordinate support for those who have asked how they can help. IF YOU'RE SICK OF READING ALREADY, FEEL FREE TO SCROLL ON DOWN TO THE CARE CALENDAR TO GET SIGNED UP. We are happy to provide our address privately if needed. If you'd like to know more, carry on. We've made sure to provide as much information as possible. If you do feel called to assist in lightening our load during this time, we hope this page makes it easy to sign up in a way that works for you. "Help" can look like a meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks, fresh, frozen to have for later, store-bought, homemade, to-go order from a restaurant, groceries, or a gift card.) If you're too far to visit or you'd simply prefer to drop-and-go, send a gift card, or set up a delivery, that is also perfectly okay and equally appreciated. If food isn’t your thing, there are also a few other ways to lend a hand, like: Helping with laundry or a small household chore. Holding/helping with the twins so we can eat with two hands like civilized people. Taking Blair on her own special outing or adventure Stopping by to offer words of encouragement and keep us company for a bit. Truly, anything helps, and we’re grateful beyond words for every act of love and support. Thank you again for showing up for our family in such meaningful ways. We are so lucky to have each and every one of you. With love and immeasurable appreciation, The Bergren Family

Blair Outings: One of the most helpful things right now is giving Blair some dedicated one-on-one time. With the twins coming (and all the change that comes with that), we’re trying to help her feel extra secure, celebrated, and included — and a special outing with someone she loves is one of the best ways to do that. If you’d ever like to take Blair for a little adventure, it doesn’t need to be big or complicated. Here are a few ideas: a trip to the park or playground a library visit / story time Potter's Cottage/ craft time nature walk, scooter ride, or bubbles/chalk McDonald's PlayPlace Planetarium Zoo Arcade Bowling or just coming over to play while Mom and Dad rest or feed babies We will provide transportation or a car seat and help coordinate other logistics — you just bring the fun!
