Support For Jessica is to support my lovely mother who is currently going through her fourth diagnosis with cancer. Unfortunately after over three years cancer-free and considered in remission her cancer came back. What was originally colon cancer metastasized into her lungs for time three and four. This led to half of her left lung being removed a few years ago, and now two parts of her right lung need to be removed due to two more cancerous nodes forming. Jessica's surgery is scheduled for May 1st and after recovering she will have to undergo chemo again. Those who know her know the bad side effects that Jessica experiences due to chemo. Living at home with her during the process takes a toll on our entire family and it is really rough to see someone you love going through a hard time. My hope for this Meal Train and the go fund me also linked is to help take as much stress off of my mom as can be. Worrying about making dinner and money should not be a stressor when going through cancer.
