Rectory Meals

W
Story

Dear parishioners, Thank you for thinking about providing rectory meals! Your thoughtfulness is a blessing. I am open to having the following regarding meals: A meal brought in on Monday and a second meal on Wednesday – only those two days Bring the meal to the parish office between 8 am and 3 pm. Portions to be one meal – not several Meals in disposable containers – if a meal is sent in grandma’s favorite casserole dish and you want it back, then don’t send it. Chicken, Ham, Pork Chop, Meatloaf, Casseroles are all good. No steak or fish. Green beans, baked beans, broccoli, cauliflower, and all sorts of roasted vegetables. No bell peppers. Salads of any kind are great—could have multiple salads as one meal (tossed salad, cucumber/tomato/onion salad, chicken salad, fruit salad, cottage cheese, etc.) All kinds of potato sides—though not a lot! One small dessert! I can’t control myself with a whole pecan pie—one slice will do. There isn’t a dessert that I don’t like. Blessings, Fr. Steve
