Meredith’s Tribe was created to surround Meredith, Allen, Carter and Kendall with love, encouragement, and practical support as Meredith begins her rectal cancer treatment. Anyone who knows Meredith knows that she is the person who is always thinking of others. She puts her family and friends first, gives so generously of herself, and is often the one making sure everyone else is okay—even when she has plenty on her own plate. Now, it’s our turn to take care of Meredith. Starting cancer treatment is a difficult and overwhelming journey, and we want the Crump family to know they are not walking through it alone. This is an opportunity for all of us to show Meredith the same love, kindness, and generosity she has so freely given to others. Whether it’s providing a meal, helping with everyday needs, offering encouragement, or simply letting Meredith and her family know we are thinking and praying for them, every act of kindness makes a difference. Meals for the family of 4 are greatly appreciated and will be such a blessing to the Crump family during this time. Please note that Carter has celiac disease, so all meals and food items must be completely gluten-free. We understand that accommodating a gluten-free meal can sometimes be challenging, so if you’re more comfortable, restaurant or grocery gift cards are also very welcome and appreciated.
