On what began as an ordinary day tuna fishing out of Gold Beach, OR, tragedy struck when a sudden accident overturned the lives of many. Our dear friend Rob miraculously survived a devastating boat accident—an accident that claimed the lives of his closest friends. Though his life was spared, his heart is forever changed by the weight of that loss. He returned home to the embrace of his loving family, Kylee and Sawyer who are his anchors through unimaginable grief and recovery. Surviving such a tragedy brings not only emotional wounds but also practical challenges. Healing, rebuilding, and supporting his family while honoring the memory of his friends is a journey that takes time and care. Through Give InKind, we have the chance to rally around Rob, Kylee, and Sawyer—to ease the burdens of daily life, to offer meals, help, and kindness, and to remind them that they are not alone in this.
