May 2018 I was at the movies with Dean & Myles when I felt a lump in my armpit, so I got it checked out. After countless scans, a biopsy and waiting what seemed like forever, it was confirmed I had cancer cells in my lymph nodes and breast tissue. June 2018 I started chemo that shrunk the tumors. November 2018 I completed that round of chemo. December 2018 I had a double mastectomy. January 2019 I started a new round of chemo. March 2019 I started radiation. September 2019 I was informed my cancer had metastasized to my spine and scapula and that reconstructive surgery was a no-go. ☹️ April 2020 I finished my last dose of chemo. Scans constantly indicated that there was no progression of the cancer. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 February 2024 despite experiencing pain and sickness I was informed my scans were still good. June 2024 I got a 2nd opinion which showed cancer cells in my liver and lymph nodes.
