Well, there's no easy way to explain it. I'm a mother to 6 amazing babies and have 4 grandbaby boys and one making his debut soon. Before 2020, I was doing it all. Work, home, errands, shopping, attending football, basketball, baseball and karate activities for my family. In 2020, the rabbit caught me...I was one of the first people to get vaccinated and also, one of the first to have a near fatal allergic reaction to it. In the years following, I've been diagnosed with a rare disease called Hereditary Angioedema or HAE. Its a life altering, life-threatening condition that causes swelling. I've been hospitalized so many times, intubated so many times, had to have a port placed for rescue medication administration and in 2022, my husband and I had to make the hard decision to get a tracheostomy placed to protect my airway. My life has changed so drastically. I'm unable to work and I'm constantly fighting anxiety, panic, and the fear of being out in public. I'm hoping for just a little help. I'd appreciate it. Thank you.
Any and everything will be appreciated. Thank you.
