On Saturday, July 25, Ryan Olin’s life changed in an instant. While participating in a tribute motorcycle ride honoring the memory of his brother, Ryan was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident. He was airlifted to Rockford, where he remains in the ICU receiving specialized care. Despite the severity of his injuries, the progress Ryan has made over the past 48 hours has been nothing short of miraculous. He has already been taken off sedation, awakened from a medically induced coma, and had his breathing tube removed. While these are incredible milestones, Ryan still has a long road to recovery. Ryan sustained a traumatic brain injury that continues to be closely monitored, along with a fractured left cheekbone and a fractured left collarbone. His recovery will require time, strength, and the unwavering support of those around him. If you know Ryan, you know he is the kind of person who would drop everything to help someone else. Whether it’s lending a hand to family, showing up for friends, or supporting members of the Sheridan community, Ryan has always been someone others can count on. Now it’s our turn to be there for him. This Give InKind page has been created to help ease the burden on the Olin family during this incredibly difficult time. As they focus on Ryan’s healing, they are facing mounting medical expenses, household bills, and everyday living costs. Any support—whether it’s providing meals, helping with daily needs, or making a financial contribution—will make a meaningful difference. Most importantly, we ask for your continued prayers, positive thoughts, and encouragement for Ryan and his entire family. Thank you for standing beside the Olins as they navigate the challenging days ahead. Every act of kindness reminds them they are not facing this journey alone.
