Meals for the Harrison Family

Brookneal, VA

Story

As many of you know and have been following along, my sister Carrie, along with baby Isaiah, her husband Dane, and their 6-year-old son Elijah, was struck head-on in a horrific car accident Sunday, August 17th. The results of the collision were absolutely devastating, claiming the life of their precious son and brother Isaiah and prompting lifesaving efforts for Carrie as she lost 5L of blood from an internal uterine rupture and broke her left femur, right ankle, and 6 ribs. We are so grateful for everyone who has been lifting them in prayer, sharing their story, sending encouraging scriptures and songs, and donating to help them during this difficult time and long road to recovery. I've received countless messages and texts from people wanting to bless them with meals and asking if we were going to be organizing a meal train. Due to medical and dietary restrictions, a typical meal train would be very difficult, but after speaking with so many of you and hearing your hearts to provide for them in this way, I've decided to set up this page as a way for us to bless them with gift cards to help with groceries and food. Thank you to everyone who encouraged this type of practical support and for thinking of all the ways we can come alongside this dearly loved family during their time of need. *Some of their most frequented stores include Kroger, Sam's Club, Aldi, Food Lion, Health Nut Nutrition, and Amazon.

Special Notes

Please reach out to me, Jenn, if you have any questions and thank you again from the bottom of my heart! Please note there will be no physical meal train delivery set up. The family respectfully requests no visitors at this time as they navigate the many layers of the accident and spend time together as a family.
