Raquel was riding her ebike home from work when she was struck from behind by another ebike. This caused her to fly off the bike and sustain many injuries. She had emergency surgery on her ankle to put bones back in place and hold them there until she can have the 2nd surgery. The 2nd surgery will repair the bones by adding rods and pins inside her foot. This will be scheduled for 1-2 weeks from now and will be a 2-3 month recovery time. Raquel no longer can work and does not have health insurance. She has given up her condo which she leased. Please sign up to help with caring for her in the available days. She needs care 24/7 as she heals from the surgery. She will be most grateful for any time you can give. Of course, you can come visit her too. Her friends, brothers and sisters are welcome. Raquel has no allergies. She is only eating a little bit, but needs to eat frequently because of the many pain medications she is taking. She likes rice, chicken, fruit, eggs, and bacon! When you visit, please keep a calm environment and know that she cannot get up. Coming here to lift her spirits is welcome!
