Helping Anchor House Rebuild

Story

On November 15th, our Anchor House residence — a Bright Harbor Healthcare program and a pillar of the Ocean County community since 1979 — experienced a devastating structure fire. We are profoundly grateful that all residents and staff were safely evacuated, but eight men have been displaced from their home and have lost most of their personal belongings. As we work through insurance and begin the rebuilding process, our residents are facing the immediate emotional and practical challenges of displacement. Many are grieving the loss of treasured items, memories, and the familiarity of home. Your support during this time provides comfort, stability, and dignity as they begin to heal. This Give In Kind page was created for community members who have asked how they can help. Meal deliveries, gift cards, and essential items go a long way in easing the burden on our residents and staff during this difficult transition. Every act of kindness — big or small — helps us restore a sense of normalcy and care. Thank you for keeping Anchor House in your hearts and for standing with our residents as they rebuild. Your compassion truly makes a difference.

Special Notes
