Allies for Ali

Broken Arrow, OK

Story

From Ali: I never imagined I'd be writing something like this, but I wanted to share what's been going on and keep everyone updated in one place. The first week of June, I had a biopsy on my right breast. A short time later, I was diagnosed with Stage 1, slow-growing, non-invasive breast cancer. Hearing the word "cancer" is something I never expected, but I'm incredibly grateful it was found early. My doctors are very encouraged by how early it was caught, and that has given me a lot of hope. If you know me, you know asking for help doesn't come naturally. But after surgery, I'll have lifting restrictions, limited mobility, follow-up appointments, and time when I'll need to focus on healing. That's where your support can make such a difference. If you're able to bring a meal, run an errand, help with a household task, or simply check in with a text or phone call, it would mean more than I can express. And if you're not able to help in those ways, your prayers, positive thoughts, good vibes, and words of encouragement are just as appreciated. Thank you to everyone who has already reached out, sent messages, and supported me. Your kindness has meant so much during an overwhelming time, and I'm so grateful to have such an incredible community around me. I'm taking this one day at a time and holding onto hope. Thank you for walking this journey with me. ❤️
