Story
Hey WVFD Family, Our brother Scott White is scheduled for surgery on May 19th, and his recovery will take a couple of months. As always, we rally around our own—just like we've done for others in the past, we're coming together to support Scott and his family during this time. We're organizing a week of dinners, help with transportation if needed, and friendly visits to keep Scott's spirits high. Whether it’s a hot meal, a ride, or simply spending some time together, every little bit makes a difference. The Whites live out in Chelan, but let’s not let distance stop us from showing up in the way we always do—strong, united, and full of heart. Thank you for being the amazing team that you are. Let’s show the White family how much they mean to us!
Special Notes
Few Notes on the Whites’ Dietary Preferences: The Whites are mindful about what they eat and have a few dietary preferences to help support Scott’s recovery: -No seed oils (like canola, soybean, corn, etc.) -Organic produce is preferred when possible -Gluten Free -If cilantro is to be used place on the side, Scott is the only one who likes it. -For meat, they prefer grass-fed and grass-finished -For chicken and pork, pasture-raised is ideal -For fish, please choose wild-caught if available -They generally follow a mostly keto-friendly diet, though not strictly every day -Scott is Type 1 diabetic, so please be mindful of sugar and carb content -Thank you so much for taking these into consideration—it means a lot to the family and will really support Scott’s healing journey!
