Helping Rox Recover

DERRY, NH

Story

I started this page because in April, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I went through chemo under the radar. I was scared and wanted to be alone. I'm finished with chemo now and am heading into surgery for a lumpectomy October 3. Then I have a total hip replacement scheduled for October 23. Although chemo was hell, I was still able to hold my family together, but now with two surgeries coming up and from the encouragement from a couple of friends to reach out for help, I decided to give this a try. I have been very private about my diagnosis but it's something you can only hide for so long.

Special Notes

I spent quite a bit of time sleeping and resting and being extremely sick during chemo and will most likely be resting when recovering from these surgeries. I have a big dog who is very friendly but over excited and will jump on people. We're working on this and if you visit, we'll continue to work on this if I'm able to be up and about. Otherwise he will be put in his kennel for everyone's safety.
