Many of you know that Jose is currently in the hospital after becoming very ill and being admitted to the ICU. His condition became serious enough that he was transferred by Life Flight to the Medical Center, where he is now being cared for in the cardiac ICU. Jose has a long road ahead of him as his doctors work on a plan for the coming weeks, including the possibility of an LVAD. For now, he remains in the cardiac ICU and is unable to get up or walk while he has the temporary heart support device in place. This has been an incredibly difficult and emotional time for the entire family. Both parents are away from home, and the kids are having a particularly hard time watching their dad go through so much. We'd love to come alongside this family in a very practical way by helping provide meals. With so much of their time and energy going toward being at the hospital and caring for their family, we hope this food train can take one small thing off their plates. If you're able to provide a meal, have food delivered, or contribute in another way, it would mean so much to them. Please don't feel any pressure to participate—every prayer, kind message, meal, and gesture of support is appreciated.
