Hi Friends, As you know, our dear Lindsay is having shoulder surgery next Tuesday and will be needing some support for the coming weeks. Even if you've made a personal offer to her, please use this interface so that everyone's efforts can be coordinated and Lindsay has a place she can let us know what she needs. She won't be driving for an unknown period after the surgery, so errands, cooking, rides, help with household chores (laundry, light cleaning, changing bedsheets, etc.) will really be appreciated. Claudia will be staying with Lindsay for the first week after her surgery. Claudia will be able to help Lindsay through those first very uncomfortable days. Some meal support starting Wednesday January 14th and possible errands will be great. We will update this site regularly as Lindsay's needs become clear. I'll send updates about how the surgery went and how's she's doing the first couple of days post surgery and will update her phone status to let you know when she's ready to receive calls. Lindsay is happy to eat anything except liver and sweets. Claudia will be here through the 19th and is a pescatarian. Please call Lindsay before visiting (once she's ready). She doesn't know yet how she will feel and when she'll be ready for visitors. And when she is ready, please refrain from visiting if you have any symptoms of a cold or illness no matter how many days you've had them. And Lindsay says-- "no hugs or pats on the shoulder til I say it's ok." Your love and good wishes are always welcome! There have been a good number of friends offering help so please sign up for what's realistic and doable for you without any stress. And thanks for being part of Lindsay's village.
