5/6/2025, we humbly continue to ask for help... we still need you! Joe's intensive rounds of chemo are complete. He is a proven warrior and the definition of strength and fight. But unfortunately, it's just not enough for this type and stage of cancer. There are a few options now as a next step that are financially demanding, but time is precious... we will do anything for this family and believe in this fight and the power of prayer, support, and generosity. In whatever way you may feel called, we thank you! As Mollica's Militia, let's stand together and raise them up, raise Joe up, and equip them for the fight no one should have to face. _____________ (February) It is with a heavy heart that we are here kindly asking for your love, support, and prayers for the Mollica Family. We know it takes a village and we are so grateful to have you as a part of that. Joe went in for a CT scan to look for a kidney stone (which has passed) which ultimately resulted in further testing. It was found that he had a partially collapsed lung which then led to an abnormal PET scan, biopsy and a diagnosis of a stage 4 small cell lung cancer on 2/11. Joe will be starting intensive rounds of chemotherapy beginning on Monday, 2/17. Additionally, Missy and Joe just welcomed their sweet baby boy into this world on 2/13. Missy and baby Sal are both doing well and they are soaking up this precious gift together. This has and is happening all very quickly, and we are ready to surround them, provide for them and carry them throughout this journey. Many of you have asked how you can help and we are hoping this site provides a simple avenue to do so. Although we struggle to see God's plan, we trust that He is ahead of us and have seen and felt His presence every day. We ask that meals are prepared with wholesome/organic ingredients if possible and with heating instructions. Meals can be dropped off in a cooler outside of their garage door for optimal privacy and quietness. You may also coordinate with Ashley/Mike when crossing paths as an option to get things to them as well.
