Story
Words from Michael: Feels surreal to say, but last week, I was diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkin's lymphoma. We have been working with some great doctors and getting a treatment plan ready to attack this mess, and am happy to report that full remission is expected, with chemo starting in the next few weeks. If you know me, you may know my family has been in a whirlwind of a season for some time and hearing a cancer diagnosis when you are expecting a relief or end to said whirlwind can definitely be confusing and hard to come to terms with. But man, There is such an unbelievable, and overwhelming peace in my heart. Not a blind hope or a failed attempt of reason that I cope with by saying that, I mean a true, grounded, peace that completely surpasses all understanding. This verse is my prayer. (Matthew 5:16) That others can gain hope from seeing God be praised through this season. Because I guarantee you this: no praise will be stolen from my lips. God is good. Forever and always. My peace and joy are not for sale, and fear is a liar. Love you all so much, prayers for my family during this time are greatly appreciated. 🙏♥️
Special Notes
Lori and Michael have been my dear friends for many years. Please consider supporting them during this difficult time.
