Jessica is such a strong, audacious and admirable young woman! She inspires many young girls in our community! She never once has allowed her cancer to hold her back or define who she is and what god's purpose for her is! Here's a recent Facebook post of her story! February 5th, 2026 "One day behind . Yesterday was world cancer day so here is my story . November 2024 I was diagnosed with stage 2B cervical cancer. 2B because it had spread to my uterus line. January 2025 I started 12 weeks of chemo , 6 weeks of daily radiation, then following that with 7 brachytherapy surgeries . By May 2025 I had completed all my treatments. Today I continue 3 month scans and patiently waiting for the swelling around my cervix to calm down so a biopsy can be done. Next week we will attempt to do this again , and another scan . Insurance is my worste night mare and does delay things more often than not . Currently scans have been clean , but the first year after treatments is the most vulnerable. March 2026 I will have a mastectomy with reconstruction because with my CHEK2 genetic disorder the first likely place for my cancer to re occur or spread is my breast. I won’t stop fighting or being preventative. If your going through the fight with cancer right now , just know you are NOT alone , cancer DOESNT define you, and it WILL get BETTER . Cheers to another day my warriors . God is always with us !"
I think the gift cards are the best - as to not hassle her, unless you know them personally!
