Help Hillary Get Back on Her Feet ❤️ Hi, my name is Hillary, and right now, I'm going through one of the hardest chapters of my life. I've experienced homelessness on and off since 2023, and since July 16, 2026, I've been facing homelessness continuously. I'm doing my best to get back on my feet, find stability, and rebuild my life, but it's difficult to do that without a safe place to call home. I also live with Type 1 diabetes, a lifelong condition that requires daily care, insulin, and reliable access to medical supplies and healthy food. Managing diabetes while homeless adds another layer of difficulty to an already challenging situation. Having access to necessities, nutritious food, and a safe, stable place to stay would make an enormous difference in my ability to take care of myself. I'm not someone who gives up easily. I've always believed in working hard, helping others when I can, and treating people with kindness. Right now, I'm learning how difficult it can be to be the person who needs help. I'm reaching out with an open heart and hoping to connect with kind people who might be willing to lend a hand. Support with food, clothing, hygiene products, transportation, diabetes-related necessities, or housing expenses would mean more to me than I can adequately express. Even a small gift or a simple act of kindness could help me move one step closer to stability. I understand that everyone has their own struggles and responsibilities, and I never want anyone to feel obligated to give. If you're able to help in any way, please know that your generosity would be deeply appreciated. If you can't give, sharing my page or simply offering a few encouraging words would mean something, too. I'm not asking for anyone to fix my entire life. I'm asking for a little help getting through this difficult season so I can keep moving forward and work toward a safer, healthier, more stable future. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, for seeing the person behind the circumstances, and for any kindness you're able to share. With gratitude and hope, Hillary
Additional Needs and Ways to Help I'm currently experiencing homelessness, and recently the city disposed of my belongings, including my winter coat, winter boots, and other personal necessities. With Wisconsin's cold weather approaching, replacing warm clothing and footwear is an urgent need for me. I also live with Type 1 diabetes, which means I need to manage my health and keep my medical supplies and essentials accessible, even while dealing with unstable living circumstances. One of my biggest challenges right now is transporting my belongings from place to place. I get around by bicycle, so a bicycle cargo trailer would make an enormous difference by allowing me to carry clothing, food, personal items, and other necessities more safely and easily. An electric bicycle would also be an incredible help with transportation and getting to appointments, resources, and potential work opportunities. If anyone has a gently used bike trailer, an affordable electric bike, a warm winter coat, insulated boots, gloves, thermal clothing, or other cold-weather essentials they no longer need, I would be incredibly grateful. Gift cards or help finding these items would also be appreciated. I'm doing my best to get back on my feet and regain some stability. Every practical item, kind gesture, and connection to a resource helps me move closer to that goal. Thank you for considering helping me through this difficult time. I truly appreciate any kindness or support someone is able to offer.
