Support for Big RaeRae

Lansdowne, PA

Story

OUR STORY 🌺 By Ramona & Llana For the last two and half years now, our world has quietly shifted. My mother — our beloved Big Rae-Rae — has been in and out of the hospital, navigating some of the hardest health challenges of her life. As her daughter and caregiver, I have been doing everything in my power to keep her comfortable, covered, and surrounded by love. But what most people don’t see is the layer beneath the strength. They don’t see the long nights. The early-morning phone calls. The heavy decisions. The balancing act between work, caregiving, and motherhood. The moments when Llana and I just sit and exhale because we’re trying to hold it all together. This page was created because we can’t do this alone. And the truth is — no family should have to. So many have asked, “How can we help?” And honestly, right now… help looks like the small things that keep us steady. What Support Looks Like for Us • Meals or dinner support so I can focus on caring for my mom and helping Llana process everything. • Laundry help — because caregiving takes time and energy that pulls us from the basics. • Gift cards for: • Toiletries • Household items • Groceries • Takeout • Gas • Simple check-ins, prayers, and words of encouragement as we navigate this journey. This isn’t just a page for updates. This is a village page. A place where love can meet us in the everyday places — the places where caregiving becomes compassion, and where community becomes strength. On behalf of my daughter and myself: thank you for standing with us, praying with us, and helping us care for the woman who has poured into so many. We love you all. — Ramona & Llana 💗
