Our dad has been facing serious health challenges over the past several weeks, including multiple hospital stays. Throughout it all, Dad and Mom have remained very private, but they have reached a point where they are ready to accept support from those who care about them. My Mom continues to work while also caring for our dad- coordinating doctor’s appointments and, on more difficult days, traveling back and forth between home and the hospital. This has made day-to-day tasks especially challenging. One of the most meaningful ways we can support them right now is by providing meals. Dad is currently spending all his time resting and trying to regain his strength and overall health. Meals that are simple to prepare are especially helpful, as he does not have the strength to stand and cook. If you’re able to contribute a meal, it would be a tremendous blessing and help ease some of the daily burden on both our Dad and Mom during this time.
