Thank you for being here to support our family during this time. After undergoing cardiac testing, we learned that Dad has multiple blocked arteries and will be undergoing triple bypass surgery on August 4th. While this was unexpected, we are grateful that it was caught and that he is in the care of an excellent surgical team. As he focuses on healing, we'd also love to surround Lori and family, with support as they care for him (and their two French Bulldogs, Harper and Bailey!) during his recovery. Whether it's a meal, an errand, a kind note, or another way you'd like to help, we are incredibly grateful for the love and generosity of our friends and family. We would appreciate any support when he plans to come home around August 10th! If you'd like to visit, we'd love to coordinate a time. We kindly ask that during the first one to two weeks after Dad returns home, we give him the opportunity to rest, recover, and regain his strength before welcoming visitors. If possible, please choose meals that are lower in sodium and include lean proteins, vegetables, whole grains, and healthy fats. We kindly ask that meals avoid heavy cream sauces, fried foods, and overly processed ingredients.
