Baby Cooper was born July 19th, weighing 7lbs 6oz. The NICU team scooped him up and transported him over to Boston Children’s Hospital to be assessed by their cardiac ICU team. He was put on medication called prostaglandins to keep his PDA open in his heart, allowing for adequate oxygenated blood flow. He’s been on 1 liter of oxygen on and off as needed for his O2 levels. Our goal is 80s+ without the oxygen turned on. He’s on the surgical schedule for Thursday, with the possibility to move up to Wednesday if there’s immediate need. Thank you all for your continued support.
